Originally from Germany, Sina Theil picked up a guitar at the age of 18 and in a few short years she has flourished as an accomplished singer/songwriter. Sina left Germany for Spain where she played with a local Spanish band and recorded her first few demos before finally arriving in Dublin to pave her career on the Irish music scene and become a student of song writing at BIMM while making her way busking on the streets of Dublin. After 1 year she embarked on a full time vocal course and gained experience in live performance as the front-woman of a rock group.


In 2017 Sina turned her attention to working on her debut solo album. In collaboration with Downda Road Productions, Sina is currently in studio recording some of her original solo material that varies from playful light-rock tracks with urban influences to heartfelt ballads with an alt-country vibe.  Sina’s clear abilities as a songwriter are enhanced further by her unique voice and compelling stage presence. The last few months have seen Sina gigging around the country supporting artists such as Paddy Casey, Mundy, Underhill Rose and Hvmmingbyrdand a recent charity album launch in Dublin saw her appear on stage alongside Mundy and Paddy Casey to accompany them for a few tunes.


While completing her debut album which is due out early next year, Sina is also collaborating with fellow Downda Road  artists including exciting new material with Andy Harper (lead singer of Vagabonds and Thieves) and joining guitar troubadour Davie Furey on his current tour. Sina’s first single ‘Weight of The World appeared on the Charity Album The Positive Touch alongside tracks from artists such as Paddy Casey, Mundy, The 4 Of Us, The Devlins, The Blades, Gavin Glass and more.


Sina released her first commercial single in July 2017 ‘To the Mountains’ featuring vocals from Katie Gallagher.

Since its release the song has received a hugely positive response. To the Mountains climbed to #1 on the iTunes download chartsand has been receiving airplay all over the country including being selected as song of the week on Highland Radio and album of the week on Dundalk FM. Sina appeared on various Irish radio station such as KFm, Dundalk Fm, CRC Fm, etc and is building a growing following on her Facebook page.
