Ken Bolger studied fine art in the National College of Art and Design, specializing in both painting and sculpture.
He draws inspiration from where he lives and works on the wild and beautiful Dingle peninsula, part of Wild Atlantic Way in the south west Ireland. His work brings together the traditional building materials of slate and copper bind together Celtic symbolism and the ancient alphabet Ogham. His pieces reflect authentic Celtic Irish craftsmanship throughout.
Using the traditional Valentia sculpting and masonry techniques Ken creates unique works that incorporate the use of Ogham or ancient Celtic symbols. Each piece weaves together millenia of history and technique.
